An audio interface supporting ALSA or PortAudio. Native DSD recording requires a device supporting DSD_U32_BE via ALSA. DoP mode can transport DSD through any interface supporting 176.4kHz.
DST is compliant with the SACD ISO standard. The compression ratio depends on material complexity, typically reaching 50–60%. DST-compressed output in DFF format is supported. Recommended for archiving and SACD authoring.
Yes. DpdoAudioTools invokes the DpdoEngine CLI internally for conversion and recording. You can also use the CLI standalone for batch processing or server-side automation.
